Who's Who in the Local Area

The Reavers

Totem: Wendigo

Stewart "Colgrave" Colman
Sept Leader
Uktena - Ahroun - Homid Rank 5
Colgrave is a serious Garou. He has seen his ancestors' sept slowly fall into the hands of the other tribes. He believes his cubs will be the last Uktena to lead the sept. Although he is proud and extremely Uktena, he has let members of other tribes into position of importance for the good of the Caern.
He had come to harsh words with the warder of the sept, Collin O'Domnail, due to the time spent away from the sept needed to watch Brynn O'Domnail. Colman used the phrase "Ward the sept or ward the girl, but you can't do both". This started a brawl in the middle of Colgrave's office, and a Crinos-shaped hole in the wall. Colgrave and Hell Howler are remaining silent about the hole, and were patching things up until the death of Miss O'Domnail. Since then Colgrave has given more thought to replacing Hell Howler as warder.
Colgrave's office is almost completely barren of breakable objects, including furniture. His one luxury as sept leader that he has borrowed from the Glass Walkers is a kinfolk secretary, Cheryl. Cheryl has been known to tip off visitors as to Colgrave's mood by changing the amount of fragile objects she keeps on her desk.

Major Joel "Night" Watkins
Uktena - Philodox - Homid Rank 3
Night is a former officer in the US Air Force. He was discharged after buzzing the capital of a European country after the foreign military leader commanded the ethnic cleansing of several cities. He was given a commendation for bringing his "malfunctioning" F-16 back to base safely, and a quick retirement for doing so without permission. The local Ragabash think his supersonic fly-by was a great way to break lots of windows, and so give him much respect.
Joel is a typical military officer in many ways. His new assignment to the Reavers has been a good vacation, but he wonders when the s**t will hit the fan.

Jill "White Tear" Prakkus
Gate Keeper
Uktena - Ragabash - Lupis Rank 3
Jill is a motherly type to the sept's Ragabash. She will keep careful watch over them, and make sure a Philodox is nearby if one of her auspice is punished more than they need to be by an Ahroun. Colgrave forced her into the position of Gate Keeper due to her willingness to open the bridges herself one too many times. The only time she has seriously abused her position in the last three years was during the World Cup Soccer matches in Orlando. Many Garou came to watch the games and visit the sept. Several packs accidentally were sent to wrong destinations including a Get pack sent to Alaska for a drunken brawl, a Silver Fang pack sent to Pakistan for making a big fuss over having to sit near a Bone Gnawer at one of the games (with so many Ragabash Garou nearby, no one could find out who switched tickets), and a Wendigo pack sent to Dallas just because it seemed a good idea at the time.

Sierra Smile
Uktena - Galliard - Lupis Rank 2
Sierra was a lost cub from eastern California. Night found her while vacationing out there to get in touch with his wolf nature. Sierra is a genuinely nice person with a gentle touch. Rumor has it that she befriended a werebear in the mountains, but if asked about it, she will only grin a little and blush. She was once accused of being the only shy Galliard in Florida, but Shadow Dancer has proven that theory wrong.
Sierra is one of the few Garou in the sept to have been able to get Colgrave, Night, Hell Howler and Grey Fury to laugh at the same story. She has been voted the "Garou Most Likely to Overdose on Happy Pills".

Burning Wrath

Totem: Stag

Collin "Hell Howler" O'Domnail
Warder - Sebastian
Fianna - Galliard - Homid Rank 4
Collin is a large, friendly looking Irish Garou. He is known for his generous parties and love of all the finer Irish things like whiskey, songs, fine Irish stouts, and stories. But few have ever survived the dark side of Hell Howler.
Hell Howler's grandfather was a Fianna that was seduced by the Wyrm. Collin grew up being watched by the Black Spiral Dancers, and secretly by a Fianna theurge as well. When the Black Spiral pack came to collect Collin, there were two packs of Fianna waiting to show them the errors of their ways. After learning of his true nature, and that of his grandfather, he took a vow to exact vengeance upon the lost tribe. So far, he has spent most of his life hunting or being hunted by Black Spirals. He has personally killed over thirty-seven Dancers, and his packs have taken out twice that number. But the cost for such glory has been high. He has been the last surviving member of his pack twice.
His single minded devotion to his vow has made him one of the foremost authorities on the Black Spiral Dancers and their lore. This has earned him the respect of the Uktena, so much so that he was asked to be the Warder of the Sept. He is so possessed by his mission that a few have secretly kept vigil over him checking for signs of Wyrm taint for almost a year. Some of his methods of luring Dancers to their death have been called into question lately, but this has been done quietly.
After the death of his niece, Brynn O'Domnail, he has been rather quiet. Noctem and Hell Howler have been going off on their own performing rituals that they don't speak of. No one will admit to asking about the goings on of the warder of the sept, but there are many curious eyes watching him. The winds say that if Collin isn't careful, he will be replaced as warder.

John "Rock Crusher" Antoon
Master of the Challenge
Silver Fang - Philodox - Homid - Rank 3
John appears to be a well dressed, articulate, forgettable man in his late thirties. He is an accomplished litigator, having his own successful law practice for years before running for Circuit Court judge. In this position he has done as much for Gaia as have dozens of Ahrouns. By making sure his docket was light when environmentally important cases were being scheduled he has done much to stop several large high tech industries from ignoring the law. In several cases he has used his position to block permits, fine companies, and block rezoning of wild lands.
He is thought to be a snob, but in reality he is just shy. There are very few people he respects, but he defers to those that he does if they are higher rank, and he guides and protects those who are younger than he.

Wilhelm "Noctem" Tokost
Get of Fenris - Theurge - Metis - Rank 3
Noctem is the second only to Hell Howler in the pack. They have known each other for over a decade, first having met in Egypt. Noctem is a devoted student of Wyrm lore. He shares knowledge of many secret rites with the Uktena, and so is treated by them with more respect than most Get show him. Lately he has been a little stingy with his sharing of home-made rituals with the Uktena, but they can't really call him on it since they do the same thing, too. He is wise, introspective, but will occasionally meditate to really bad mid-eastern music sung by shrill voiced females. Rumor has it that he plays this to keep bane spirits away, because not even a Wyrm-tainted piece of spirit trash could stand this "music".

Sean Gallain
Warder - FIT Botanical Gardens
Fianna - Ahroun - Human 2
Sean is the only human in Central Florida that is a full member of a Garou pack. As the third generation of kinfolk in his family without any Garou, he was determined to prove his worth to his tribe. He has acquired a fetish that allows him to change shape all the way from human to wolf, but with no increase in mass so his Crinos form is only a little stronger than his human form. He achieved his position as warder of the Botanical Gardens mostly due to being sponsored by Collin and defeating the Garou picked by Colgrave.
While in possession of the fetish, he heals at one tenth the normal rate of a Garou when in any form other than human. He does not take aggravated damage from silver, he cannot step into the Umbra without aid, nor can he learn gifts.
Much to his great pride, he has two daughters and a son, all three Garou.

Virginia Gallain
Dreamspeaker - Uktena - Human Kinfolk
Virginia has been married to Sean Gallain for eight years now. Neither of them knew about the true nature of the other until their second year of marriage. Although she is not really a member of the pack, her words do carry a great deal of weight and is often seen with them during social events. She is currently taking classes at Florida Tech.

Blood Red

Totem: Fire Elemental

Kathryn "Grey Fury" Leath
Master of the Rite
Black Fury - Philodox - Homid Rank 4
Grey was born in Texas to a mother that was too young, and a father in the oil industry. She never talks about her childhood or her family, or even about how she came to be accepted by the Black Furies. She is extremely skilled in conversation, enough so that even the most quick-witted cannot glean any information out of her that she doesn't want publicly known. She says she isn't secretive, but doesn't see the need to dredge up old history. She is known to be assertive, but not overly hostile.
When a Ragabash from a visiting pack was offended by her, a couple from that pack went in search of Grey's past to find a story for the next moot. When they came back a month later, all that could be pieced together from their story is that they found out how their totem found Blood Red . The only consistency to their story was muttering about all out destruction.

Peg "Red Rage" Howerton
Black Fury - Galliard - Homid Rank 2
Peg is a dreamer and a talker. Not that she talks constantly, but she can paint pictures with words. You would swear that after she describes a cabin in the woods she once visited, you could tell the temperature in the air when she first saw it. She enjoys being herself so much that no one could convince her to change. She isn't stubborn, just self assured.
She uses her abilities teaching at a local high school. She is often voted one of the best teachers the school has.
The only complaint against her from the rest of the Garou is that she doesn't throw enough parties. Her idea of showing disfavor to another Garou is to throw a party, and not invite them. The sad pity faces pointing at the guilty person is enough to get her point across.

Gayle "Pen" Owen
Black Fury - Ragabash - Homid Rank 2
Gayle is so unlike your typical Black Fury that most folks forget her tribe. She doesn't use trickery to humble those that need to be deflated, she will use a well chosen phrase or a subtle hint. She has never been publicly mischievous or sneaky, just easy going and quiet. Often seen as the timid member of the pack, the few that take the time to really get to know her are quite surprised. She can tell a story almost as good as any Galliard, but the ones she tells best are the ones with humor and style. She is often seen in the company of Peg Howerton, Sierra Smile, and White Tear. When Peg throws one of her parties, Gayle does the cooking. It is a toss up as to which is more popular.

SETI

Totem: Gargoyle

Tom "Number Cruncher" Willing
Glass Walker - Ahroun - Homid Rank 3
At first glance, you wouldn't believe Tom is a Garou. He is 5'6", 270lbs, fair-skinned, and extremely shy. Computers are a big part of Tom's life, and he owns two companies dealing with them. The smaller of the companies is a Macintosh store. The second company is System Engineering Technology, Inc, and that is where his pack gets its name. Both companies are within a mile and a half of Erna Nixon's Hammock, the park with the permanent bridge to the main Caern in Sebastian.
Tom's easy-going nature is often at odds with his Garou rage. When in combat, Tom cannot normally spend rage. Every round, the anger will build up until he can no longer control it. In game terms, Tom can not spend LESS than three rage per action. When he hits, he can opt to spend two rage to get extra levels of damage. This is one reason that Hell Howler thought he would be a great warder... no one had ever survived a fight with Tom.
When the non-Glass Walker Garou of the sept refer to him by name, they will often call him Cruncher.
Several high ranking Glass Walkers have been speaking down about Tom recently. The Glass Walkers are trying to create a new Caern in Brevard, and Tom is against it. This has caused Tom lots of grief as the disagreement is affecting his business. He suspects some Glass Walkers with Vampire business ties are trying to get him out of the way. Tom has become so despondent about Glasswalker politics, the loss of his position, and the death of a packmate that he has left the Caern area, and only visits his offices electronically.

Tommy "Rembrandt Rage in the Clouds" Tsao
Stargazer - Ahroun - Homid Rank 2
Thomas is originally from California, where his grandfather is a Sept Leader. Tommy moved to Florida of his own free will, after it was suggested by more than a few packs that he needed to grow up somewhere else. Remmy was considered an arrogant, short sighted, know-nothing, violent Garou. Nothing really out of the ordinary for an Ahroun.
Tommy is a student at FIT, probably. Rumor has it that the only reason he is still there is because his teachers keep disappearing. At the very least, he will be moving his apartment to off-campus... very off-campus.
A short time after Remmy showed up at the sept, a mid-western group of mages bought some land bordering Erna Nixon's Hammock, the Caern in West Melbourne. After some mayhem, turmoil, bloodshed, and covert ops, Remmy came across a copy of the deed to the property. Judge Antoon then made sure the property title was transferred to our young hero, thus saving the Caern from being drained of all its gnosis. It also got him invited into Tom Willing's pack. Remmy is now a little more mellow than he was when he arrived, and many hope the trend continues.
He spent much of his summer in the New York state region, visiting a Star Gazer master and learning the doctrine of peace to spread among the Garou tribes. He will be taking leave of SETI soon, and starting his own pack.
Remmy has approached Tom about starting his own pack, but he has put this off due to Tom's problems.

"Shadow Dancer"
Wendigo - Galliard - Lupis Rank 1
Shadow Dancer is the most quiet Galliard in the state. He has a known dislike for Rembrandt Rage in the Clouds, but that didn't stop him from fighting side by side with Remmy in times of trouble.
Shadow Dancer's first pack disbanded after the tragic death of its former leader, Brynn O'Domnail in a raid of a minor Black Spiral pit in south Florida. At the battle in the pit, he fought hard, kicked butt, and left with only a scratch.

Paw Prints

Martin "Tagas" Alden
Uktena - Theurge - Lupis Rank 3
Keeper of the Land
Tagas is seen as old, wise, and huggable. He sees himself as old, wise, and huggable (and hates it). He is looking forward to retiring and becoming a Ragabash. He has a habit of inviting the not quite socially "in" people into his pack, a tradition that he started long ago.

Gareth Kyle Stevenson "Halkback"
Warder - Erna Nixon
Child of Gaia - Galliard - Metis Rank 3
Kyle (he hates his first name) is the ranking Metis is the sept. He is known as Halfback due to his football career in high school, not his disfigurement. Halfback cannot (or will not) change into Lupis form, and his Hispo form is incredibly hideous. He has always been eager to do what it takes to prove that he is as good as any Garou, and will sometime let his ambition get the best of him.
He will admit that his taking the warder position from Tom Willing was not the most honorable way of doing it, but if Tom couldn't handle one metis, why should he be in the warder position?
As Tom is a well liked person, Halfback is trying REALLY hard to get back in someone's good graces. He really had no clue as to the backlash his challenge would cause. As the only Child of Gaia in the sept, he has pretty much soured the area for any more to move in.

Shasta Huggins
Glass Walker - Ragabash - Homid Rank 2
Shasta is a lightweight, blond neo-Gothic looking young lady that will most likely end up being staked by a hunter expecting her to be a vampire. She doesn't like being Garou, never wanted it, and will have a MAJOR bad attitude with anyone who tries to convince her one more time of Gaia's need for warriors. Big deal! All being Garou has done for her is get her fired from work, kicked out of a junior college (video arts major), and more chances to get all hairy and disgusting.
Lately she has been seen with Remmy going up to New York, but that is because she has such a low opinion of Brevard. She doesn't like the Niagara area of New York much better, but she hasn't been able to convince anyone up there to take her any place interesting.

Packless

Elm
Red Talon - Ahroun - Lupis Rank 3
Elm's first pack was all Red Talon from Minnesota. They were proud, fierce, and very much an "In Your Face" type of pack. Their kinfolk packs were infiltrated by two Antitribu Gangrel and destroyed. While seeking retribution, 14 vampires were destroyed, but so were the rest of Elm's pack. On the last two raids, she was helped by Blood Red to finish the vengeance. She then joined Grey and returned to Florida. She one day hoped to lead the pack, but the debt she owes to Grey prevented her from taking any action against her.
Jake, a local Nuwisha, has been infiltrating the local Vampire society and giving Elm details on their movements and havens. She is now stalking several of them, waiting until there are only two or three of them to deal with at once. If there is going to be trouble between the Vampires and Werewolves, Elm will probably be starting it. This caused a rift between Grey and Elm, and Elm left the pack rather than challenge her friend. She is now looking for a pack to lead, and more importantly, she is looking for blood.

Jeffery "Mistwalker" O'Toole
Fianna - Galliard - Lupis Rank 1
Jeffery is here on vacation for the winter from old Ireland. He believes he was born to a large family, but since he wandered off when he was only three, it's hard to say. He was adopted by a local brewer and he put up with the pub growing up and they put up with his singing and his stories and his music. It was a tough arrangement. He has been hanging around with Shadow Dancer and Remmy lately.

Calandra "Calamity" Taylor
Homid Rank --
Calandra is a lost pup recently discovered in this area. She has been under the protection of a Catholic priest named Fr. King since she started to change and was legally committed to his care. She is now at the sept learning what she has missed, and agrees with much of Shasta's attitudes. Her current teachers are Cheryl (Colgrave's secretary), Peg, and Gail.

Nuwisha

Jake
Nuwisha - Ragabash (honest!) - Homid Rank 1
Jake is the most warped awakened being in Brevard County. He carries into battle two hard wood tonfas with silver bands and cold iron studs. He figures that who ever made them was ready for anything... except him. He possesses a Nuwisha gift that lets him assume the look, smell, and aura of other were creatures, but it costs two gnosis and lasts for a limited time. He used this quite effectively during his advanced scouting of a Black Spiral pit. He took out two guards with a silver garrote, but got his butt kicked by a third.
Jake's uncle has been taking him deeper and deeper into the Umbra lately, and during several of these trips, he was far enough away to weaken the bond that their totem spirit binds a pack with. Rumor has it the the next trip out will be the last seen of Jake.
Jake has been spending time with the local Vampires and giving details of their movements to Elm. By the time the Kindred figure out who is telling their secrets, he hopes to be long gone. This was cool at the beginning, but some of the Nuwisha think the joke is getting stale now.

Werewolf Tracker 2.1
I have written a program to keep track of all the player and non-player cast in my game. It is written for Windows 3.1 in Visual Basic 3.0. It must be run in 800x600 resolution. If you would like to try it and comment, it can be downloaded from Greyhawkes Aerie.
